Energy Bars with Marigold Petals

Energy bars with Calendula Petals

Ingredients

1 cup of marigold petals ¾ cup grated carrot ½ cup coconut chips ½ cup almond flour or just finely chopped almonds 1 glass of whole almonds ¼ cup goji berries ¼ cup sunflower seeds ¼ cup of pumpkin seed 2 tablespoons chia seeds 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract ½ cup coconut oil ¼ cup rice or maple syrup 1 tablespoon orange peel

Instruction

  • Melt coconut oil and add syrup.

  • Grind almonds in a food processor.

  • Add all other ingredients to the mix, except marigold and goji berries.

  • Add melted coconut oil with syrup and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix again.

  • At the end, add marigold petals and goji berries and mix quickly.

  • Put the mass in a pan or a form, pre-laid with parchment paper.

  • Thoroughly press mass with your hands. Top with chopped almonds and orange peel.

  • Put in the freezer for a few hours, then remove and cut into 8 large bars.

  • Keep in the fridge.
